St Albans GO Club
A meeting
was held at 8:30pm on 19th May 2004 at TheWhite Lion,
Sopwell Lane to agree the structure of the club.

The
President opened the meeting. The Secretary read the previous AGM
minutes and the Treasurer explained the accounts. These were accepted
by the attendees.
Election of Officers
RN was elected as President.
MIC was elected as Secretary.
AT was elected as Treasurer. The cash funds are currently £67.72
Motions
Two motions presented:
- 2004 membership should be £5 for new members and £2 for existing members (AT)
- The club should support foreign players by subsidising travel (MC)
These were withdrawn and discussed later under Any Other Business:
Any Other Business
After much discussion the Annual membership fee was set at £2 per annum with a £3 joining fee. (Passed unanimously). The year would run from 1st May. There will be no board fees.
RM will act as webmaster and will assist MC in publicity for the club.
The meeting place, day and time will remain as Wednesday at 8pm.
The meeting was concluded around 10:15pm with a game of GO.
