OUT AND ABOUT IN LOWER PARKSTONE You don’t have to travel miles for a good pub crawl, how about our very own Lower Parkstone? This was how we spent one happy Sunday afternoon.
Modern interior with wooden flooring and stylish furniture this ‘Gastro Pub’ also houses a bistro and a private dining room. Popular on international rugby weekends, pub serves Fullers London Pride, Ringwood Best Bitter and has an ever changing guest beer.
BRITANNIA INN – 20 Britannia Road BH14 8BB
Multi roomed pub which has recently been redecorated, small centre bar with dining area on the left, spot your favourite film star, and on right larger bar with T.V. and pool table. Pub serves Fullers London Pride and Ringwood Best Bitter.
SLOOP – 5 Commercial Road BH14 0HU
On a traffic island opposite the Civic Centre, long bar with stepped areas, on the right is devoted to pool, rear entrance leads to outdoor drinking area and car park. Badger beers available are First Gold and at the time Hopping Hare (seasonal beer).
CENTRAL HOTEL – 81 Commercial Road BH14 0JB
Corner pub with unusual mosaic pub sign. Front bar with wooden surround, T.V. for sporting events. New side bar CB2 bright and with a younger crowd in mind. Still occasional live music/open mic nights. Badger beer available First Gold and at the time Hopping Hare (seasonal beer).

Opposite St Peters Church this L Shaped pub has a decked area in front and a large peaceful garden at rear.
