One of the most popular displays on our stand is a working "OO" gauge model of the Rocket
locomotive in both it's original and rebuilt form. There is also a
static model depicting the current remains as on show at the Science
Museum, South Kensington. All the models were built using the Dapol kit,
which is normally in stock on our stand. The operating models use a
magnet-drive rather than a normal electric motor, causing a great deal
of confusion to visitors.
To accompany the display, we provide children with a
free information sheet, which is very popular especially in helping
with school homework! A copy can be downloaded in pdf format from the
box on the right.
