WHAT IS XEN ?
Xen is a collection of files I have put
together and for which many
people find very useful.
Want to cleanup your hard
drive of all the junk that builds up over time
and delete the trails that
may lead people to who you are and what you
do online? With this tool, you
can delete cached files, history, URLs,
cookies and so much more
!
Xen cleans up more items then
any other programs currently on the market,
is completely free and is very
small in size, unlike other bloated
cleanup programs out there. Xen can
remove your autocomplete history,
preventing anyone from seeing any terms
you've typed into a search
engine's field. It removes temporary files,
deletes your recent files,
registry history, media player history, findfile
history, open/save
history, common temporaroy files and so much more ! It
has one hell of a
major cleanup option which checks for hundreds of programs
and deletes
their temporary files and recent history.
If this wasn't enough Xen can
also backup and restore your drive, registry
key files and user profiles. If
detected Xen will also backup your outlook
files, pgp keys, tiny firewall
configs and my documents etc ! Xen can also
optimise your registry and has a
basic check and removal for trojans and
spyware. All this and around 350 k
in size !
With Xen comes 'Xenclean' and
is useful to have starting up with your computer
or on demand and is only
about 20k in size. For the advanced users out there

WHAT IS XENTWEAK ?
Want to tune and tweak your computer
with settings that are normally
hidden deep inside your registry ?
Instead of wading through settings
XenTweak can install all in one settings
- saving a lot of time.
XenTweak differs from other tweak programs because it
tweaks the most
common and tested settings. It also tweaks some settings
never before
seen in other tweak programs. XenTweak is only about 200k in
size and
it will increase your systems efficiency and performance.
I wrote XenTweak primarily for
myself to save time when sorting out PC's,
as I can enter in all the
relevant registry tweaks in a very short space
of time. After a short while
quite a few people said that I should
release XenTweak, so I did and I hope
you like it. Just because XenTweak
hasn't got a nice eye candy interface
doesnt mean that its no good - in
fact quite the opposite as it doesn't rely
on external components and
librarys. XenTweak is self contained and makes
its own files when needed.
I have extensively tested all
the options and tweaks and found them to
work very nicely indeed, however I
do recommend that you backup your
registry. XenTweak is a new product and is
still in its early stages of
development and you may find things that I have
missed so don't hesitate
to contact me and I shall rectify anything that may
arise. Just because
XenTweak hasnt got a nice eye candy interface doesnt
mean that its no good !

WHAT IS XENHOSTS ?
XenHosts will make your browsing
experience a lot more quicker
and a lot more enjoyable. It will block adverts
and stop many
sites from tracking you. It is very simple indeed - the hosts
file
is just a list of many websites, which try and throw advertising
at
you and you can see this for yourself by opening it in a word
processor
or text editor. All the addresses in this hosts list have
the ip address
127.0.0.1 which is your localhost address and we
have given all the entrys in
the hosts file your localhost address -
so when we go onto a site that is in
the hosts file it will not go to the
site because it thinks it is our own
address of 127.0.0.1 and it will
not appear, because the computer thinks that
it has already found
the site.
A lot of sites have links to
other servers for the downloading l of
advertisements. When the hosts file
is installed the browser will
fail to load in the adverts etc because we told
the computer to look
for the adverts on our computer. Because it won't find
anything it will
stop looking for it and continue to load in the page you
requested.
The website may still put a cookie on your computer but it is
useless
because the data cannot be sent back.
Sites that are not in the
hosts file may still track you and send you ads
and having an up to date
hosts file is very beneficial indeed and you
can easily edit the hosts file
and ad more entries to it.

Even though Xen has many
options and some really indepth cleaning, backup and
restore options etc I
have made it as simple as I can e.g. no lengthy
installation program or
libraries and system files are put onto your computer
