Upgrade

When an new release of MRTT is issued, existing users can usually download an Upgrade to the latest version from this page.

However, to upgrade from versions earlier than 1.0.4.0, please download and install the full release as described later.

Where provided, the upgrade consists of:

a) A small program MRTTupgrd.exe to control the upgrade.

b) Any files that are added/replaced in the installed directory, usually c:\Program Files\BMRC-MRTT.

c) A README.txt file.

The data is packaged into a self-extracting zip file - just:

1) Download the upgrade file MRTTDnlUpgd.exe.

2) Run the downloaded program MRTTDnlUpgd.exe, selecting where the extracted files should be written to.

3) Double-click the README for information.

4) Run MRTTupgrd.exe to perform the upgrade. The program will check you have an installed earlier version of MRTT and perform the upgrade.

Note that if you remove the current installed version (Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs), you can download and reinstall the full current release - but the download will usually be larger. A complete reinstall will maintain registration details if you have provided a Purchase Code and unlocked the software - provided you install to the same location. If you install to a new location, you will need to re-register.
