If you have a Model Railway (or even a Model Railroad) and show it off to an admiring public, then this may be for you!
MRTT is a PC software program developed by a Professional, but retired, Computer Programmer, who also happens to be a Railway Modeller. It tells your public at model railway exhibitions what is happening now. The computer display is based on the information displays seen at stations - i.e. it shows the forthcoming train arrivals and departures at your station(s), and can also show Information screens. The display shows the current time, which is advanced in a variety of ways.
Unlike Station Display screens, MRTT can also show pictures and formatted text screens. These can be either related to a particular train in your timetable or purely information unrelated to the current timetable.
Even if you do not have a Station (e.g. just a main line), MRTT can quite happily show a train sequence.
You can have sound, so your computer (I use a laptop) can make appropriate steam noises as your model train approaches - and the Station Announcer can tell the public that the next train is due.
