Donations All donations great and small go to help stray, needy and unwanted cats in the Great Amwell and District area. On average it costs £2 per day to keep a cat at one of our fosterers - much more if we find the cat has serious ongoing health problems. When cats come into our care, they are routinely taken to a vet to check them over. Then, if necessary, we have them vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered, and given flea and worm treatment. Blood tests are also taken if necessary. So of course all this adds up, which is why we rely heavily on donations.
