The general suggestions seems to be to go for the Phillips Toucam Pro or Pro 2 since this has an LCD chip, where most webcams have the less sensitive CMOS chips. Price is around  £55. Some other makes are good too. Meade now have two cameras - one similar to the Toucam, with similar performance but excellent software, the newest one being a very sensitive deep sky colour camera at around 300 dollars.
