The works closed in 1990, having produced refractory bricks only, since around 1959, when it was taken over by Thomas Marshall Ltd of Loxley, Nr. Sheffield. An attempt is now being made to construct a history of the works. I am looking for any photographs, cuttings, maps or articles from books which I can include. Also any reminiscences of workers or their families.
