Yes it seems that news of an imminent departure to a new ground by Aberavon has hit the underground express and is causing consternation amongst all and sundry. The truth is stranger than fiction and that move is pure fiction. We can enjoy the amiable delights of the Social Club and the wonderful facility, namely the ‘Athletic’, for some time to come. After all, we as members have a vested interest in Aberavon RFC

Aberavon will not be playing  any more Cup matches this season. We performed miserably against Bargoed RFC and  to say that we are licking our wounds would be an understatement, more like counting the dead would be an apt phrase. The true test is before us; the Wizards should, and will, accept that without equivocation.

!We are fortunate to have past players who still cherish memories of days gone by and take an active interest in the present team and their progress through the League Tables. The Past Players will be meeting again this year on the occasion of the Cross Keys match here at the end of the season. We all look forward to seeing our heroes of yesteryears and to talk about the great games, thrills and encounters of yore.
