Advice for Pony Fans Under the Age of 16 who'd like to set up their own website

It's fun to set up your own website and show off your own collection but there's a few things you should avoid to make sure that you aren't putting too much personal information on the Internet.

1. Never use your full name, either use your first name only, or make a nickname, like Moonfire

2. Never print your address, the most you should put is your county

3. Never print the name of your school, and if you have pictures of yourself posted, make sure you can't see the school name on them.

4. Make sure your email address is safe too, set up a free email address with a service like hotmail or yahoo using your nickname

5. Always make sure your parents or guardians look at your site and say that it's ok to post it up, they should know that you have put together a great website, not just to check it's safe, but to show how much work you've put into it!

6. Never give your website URL to strangers, make sure you show it to your friends only.
