LADY BRIDGE - the 7th from the back of the green with the tees just visible in the distance. This is a 432 yards par 4 hole, stroke index 1. Ladies - 409 yards, par 5. A long hole often played into the prevailing wind. The stand of trees seen here interfere with an otherwise good drive if placed too far right. Oh, there's O.O.B. nearly all the way up the left as well as many bushes to loose a ball in. |

HAVERS
- the 8th looking over the
footbridge towards the green. This is a 421 yards par 4 hole. Ladies -
420 yards, par 5. This hole tends to play long. There is a brook
before the green which poses a question for the second shot - do I go
for the green but end up in the water or play up short, chip to the
green - and still end up in the water ! Fine golfers have no problems
here, but other perish.

ORCHARD - the 9th from the tee. This is a 178 yards par 3 hole. Ladies - 131 yards, par3. The public road is just over the hedge on the left - so no wayward drives ! The green is well protected by bunkers and also slopes from front to back, side to side - making in all a fine par 3 hole. |
