Supporting the Christian voice on mainstream Midlands Media

Supporting CHAD

Whether or not you are a committed Christian, but certainly if you are, we need your support to bring imaginative, innovative and totally professional programming 'of spirit' to the entrepreneurial first wave of digital media. Our budget needs to meet the expenses of our local broadcasters and communicators, and to respond to inspired initiative.

Each area association of CHAD would like to have a core group of 100 friends prepared to donate £1 a week.

Please be one of them.

What people say about CHAD

There's a strong feeling that religion is being marginalized by the broadcasting media. You only have to enjoy Songs of Praise half as much as I do to know that this is only partly true. Where there is the assurance of good ideas and high production standards, religion will be in there with the best of them. I am delighted that CHAD is supporting such talent in the Midlands.
Pam Rhodes, Presenter BBC 'Songs of Praise'

Local radio has more listeners than the five BBC networks put together! The opportunities to be involved in broadcasting have never been greater - and are increasing dramatically. The work of the CHAD Media Trust is vital in ensuring that the thousands who listen in the Midlands are able to discover something of the wonder and glory of God.
Jeff Bonser, former General Secretary of the Churches Advisory Council for Local Broadcasting (Currently Director of the Christian Enquiry Agency

Every week thousands of people tune in to their local radio and television to hear news of their local churches and community. In addition, there is evidence of a spiritual hunger which the Churches must endeavour to meet. I urge you to support CHAD both financially and in prayer so that, 2000 years on, we can continue to spread Good News.
