New layout for 2007 Jan 2007 and still under construction this is the new portable layout for 2007 The track is fixed and a lot of wires to deal with now
Now measuring 10ft 6 x 3ft 3 and on just 2 boards its a lot simpler layout for ease of operation , setting up and portability
Wiring up for track power only . After my last layout I learned you cant rely on the old rails (50 odd years old) and using weedy boost wires conducting the power around the track . so I have used chunky boost wires and plenty of them. Wiring for the lighting will come later.
nearly February now and we are getting there - it takes a lot to get the trains running smoothly on these old rails. also getting the buildings sorted . footbridge is going to be replaced with an engine shed that's on my list of wants.
