Step Out

Step Out is an email program that is designed to allow data to be transferred both ways between Head Office and any number of shops with out exposing shop staff to the perils of the internet.  It can be completely automated and simply requires that the shop staff leave the till/computer switched on when they leave the shop.

Step Out Emailer allows a retailer to send and receive data files (such as stock and sales data) to and from the stores simply, quickly and cheaply. The files are sent via the Internet as email attachments; it is entirely separate from any other email program and so cannot be attacked by any virus that targets the widely-used email programs.

A full set of configuration options allow the program to operate in attended mode at head-office and to operate entirely automatically and unattended at the stores. At head office, stores can be grouped; Step Out Emailer generates the single email and attachment destined for all stores in a group; so a new stock file can be sent to all stores in a group for the cost of one email!
