My Weather Observations
I have made weather observations in my garden in Bracknell since 13 March 1987. I list below some extreme values observed.
TEMPERATURE
The maximun temperature observed is 38.8 deg C in August 1998.
RAINFALL
ANNUAL TOTALS. Changes and trends in monthly rainfall are difficult to see. But by charting the 12 monthly running totals these changes can be seen.
AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL. The average amount of rainfall on a rainy day was calculated and a chart of the 12 month running averages is also shown.
The minimum temperature observed is -10.3 deg C in December 1991.
The wettest month since 1987 was October 2000 when 188mms fell in 17 days. The second wettest was November 2002 when 176mms fell in 23 days.
