Pegasus: Schoolboy pop group, 1971-1973

Pegasus came about when a group of friends got together to make music, and played cover versions of 1970's songs at clubs and other small venues.  The group would practise at Steve Milward's house on Friday nights, usually followed by fish and chips!

The parents of the group were tremendously supportive, taking the group to venues and buying/moving equipment.  As for what happened to the other members, Steve Byatt and Gary Marsh became teachers, Richard Stubbs moved to America and Mark Henderson (Denise's cousin), became a world-class lighting engineer, winning much critical acclaim in the theatre world.
