This site tells some of the varied stories of our lives so far, and is for all who never stop believing in themselves and have (or want) a positive outlook, no matter what life throws at you!  Be our guest and look around - we hope that you enjoy finding out about us.

Our home is called 'Deia', after a village in Mallorca (Majorca), Baleares.  Rainworth was a coal mining village, but the mine closed and people work in the surrounding towns and cities.  The latest road addition is the Rainworth By-Pass, opened in 2000.  Because of this, the village is now beginning to get back to a quieter, more peaceful state. 

Other close interesting places are Southwell Minster, Rufford Abbey and the castles at Nottingham and Newark.  A little further is the Peak District National Park.  East Midlands Airport is about 40 minutes away.  Communications are good with the M1 motorway close by and a main line rail station in Nottingham.  Mansfield has now reopened a rail station on the 'Robin Hood Line' between Nottingham and Worksop.  See the latest five day weather forecast for Mansfield, and webcams in and around Nottingham.
