We've had Microsoft Flight Simulators for a few years, starting with FS2 for the Atari. We now have FS98 and FS2002, but never really used them to their fullest level, but now the hanger doors have been opened again and it's time to fly! |

The first project was European tour in FS98, using navigational aids, flying a Cessna Skylane. I started to plan for a flight from Manchester to Munich, but it became a flight around Europe, which started in Manchester and took in locations in England, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, ending at Nottingham Tollerton Airport. I've also flown Canadian and World tours in FS2002. If you've never flown FS98 or FS2002 like this before, try it - it's great. Make sure that your pre-flight checklist contains the following items: an atlas of everywhere, a notepad to write down vital navigational information, plenty of coffee, more maps, more coffee and a sense of humour. |
