Latest Jolt Game

Another Jolt league game forfeited this weekend. This time it was CM on Overlord, again annoying but at least it means we didnt have to play that shite map :)

Also. Our new server goes up this Thursday! w00t


Recent Stuffs

Last weekends Jolt game was forfeited by CFM, so we get the win, a tad annoying we didnt get a game however. We played 2 friendlies over the weekend and won both quite easily.

In other news. We'd like to welcome Marler to the clan. He completed a successful trial during the week ending on Sunday night after a match.
G4ndalf is also currently on trial with us, unfortunately his connection has been less than reliable of late and is causing a bit of hassle while gaming. We're going to keep him on trial status until we have a proper chance to assess his ability. Good luck mate.

We've nearly got our server sorted out, gonna be a week or two yet tho before its configured and hosted etc. Once its up we're looking forward to joining the ClanBase International DOD ladder.


Hosting Fun

Due to unforeseen circumstances our server hosting company has gone tits up. Consequently we've lost all web, email, dns and gaming services we had running a week ago. The web and email are back and working now hopefully but we seriously need a good server co-location provider quite quickly. If you can help or you know of a good company please get in touch.
Normal service shall resume shortly... maybe...


Solid Start To Our DoD Career

We started the Jolt League in the best possible way with a good win against PFJ. Everyone was solid and did their jobs. Pyro and Muh were worthy of special praise for decent teamwork. Thanks to the Jolt Admin (Jester) and to PFJ for the match.

Final Score: SMU 601 - 232 PFJ

On another note - we're 3rd in the UK Clanbase Ladder :)


Its A Hat-Trick In CB

Yet another game in ClanBase. This time we were playing an established UK team UK-R, on some unfamiliar maps. Had a few scares on Zafod but we sealed our advantage on Anzio.

Final Score: SMU 670 - 291 UK-R

Another ClanBase Match

We played VC today in another ClanBase game. Anzio is a frantic map at the best of times and this was no exception. VC gave us a few scares but we won both legs and enjoyed the game - thanks VC. My thompson skills were inspired; obviously with the weight of exams off my shoulders the lead is flying true.

Final Score: SMU 598 - 240 VC


First ClanBase Match

We played FCUK today in our first ClanBase game. A few problems for both teams (connections dropping etc.) during the game, but I'm happy to report we won in the end and gained 60pts in the UK DoD Ladder.

Final Score: SMU 574 - 299 FCUK

Thanks to FCUK for the game. Hopefully we can continue our ClanBase success in our match with VC tomorrow.
