Option F - Balmoral Way Link

To the north east of Rownhams is the cycle path to North Baddesley. Balmoral Way is a good link across to the cycle path through Nursling to the north end of Adnac Park (see option C). Traffic calming measures are being proposed for Balmoral Way, and if 'pinch points' are part of the proposals then they should allow for cycles to pass through on a straight course This website has some guidance on preferred solutions for cyclists where traffic calming is to be introduced.   Last Updated 26/06/09

Not a route I use much, though I thoroughly agree that any traffic calming measures, even if not helpful to cyclists, should at least be cyclist-neutral.
