| In the Travel Plan for Adnac Park there appears to be no mention of the route possibilities to the north of the site. There is already a cycle route coming from the Romsey Road/Balmoral Way roundabout to Nursling Street. To the west there is a bridleway past the Tesco distribution depot that links with the routes mentioned in options D & H and one of the proposed station sites in option J. A link into Adnac Park as shown below would make these viable cycling routes. |

This route (running more or less S from GR 372 163) would not be of great use to me. However, I do use the cycle route running E from Nursling Station under the M27/M271 junction. This path needs attention. There is a kerb across the path to catch the unwary cyclist, it is poorly aligned and always covered in broken glass. This neglect probably encourages the yobs who I have heard attack cyclists near the pub. It would be nice to see this path improved and properly maintained.
