Allow me to introduce you to dragons, endow you with faerie wings and
gossamer gowns, lead you through the enchanted groves of distant lands
and teach you to fly! When you commission a piece of original art from
a fantasy artist you can unfetter your imagination.
Fantasy portraits also make unique gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or any other celebration.
Below are some examples of fantasy portraits...but I can work in many different sizes and media. Please see my commissions page for more information.

These are the reference photos I used for Anna and Julian's
wedding portrait. Scroll down to see the whole process of creating a fantasy
portrait, with sketches and the final piece.

A pencil sketch, using the photos
above as a basis for the poses. The couple like fantasy books and
in particular dragons, so I added a dragon for each of them! I
also changed the location to a hilltop scattered with roses and holly,
as it was a winter wedding.

The final piece, approximately A4 size and drawn with markers and
coloured pencils. The colours of the dragons and the hilltop were
chosen to reflect the wedding colours: green, red and gold.
