Dick Clift's 80th. Birthday Party on the 3rd. March, 2002

Trumpet

My late step-father's birthday was 25th. of February; though the family gathered to celebrate Dick's 80th. birthday on the 3rd. of March 2002 as this was the nearest day we could all invade my parents home in Yeovil, Somerset to celebrate the occasion.

"The train was on-time?" said Mum surprised!

"Yes!, and we have brought our cameras - where's the Birthday Boy then?"

"Ah! Hello Dick"

"Well, we won't be going hungry, that's for sure!" says Sue to Hazel.

Lucy has travelled up from The Isle 'O' Wight,

with her Mum Fran and her Dad Peter.

No names ...

Doesn't look a day over 21!

A fine day for it isn't it?

Cameras to the left of them ...

Cameras to the right of them.

"I said 'No Cameras' didn't I"

I won't show you the birthday card 'cos someone will only trumpet.

The 'Terrible Trio' (Kerry-Anne in the centre).

Well done Dick! Someone needs to take them in hand.

That's Jenny Clift next to Dick.

Any more for any more?

Yum, they took longer to prepare than to eat!

It was a pity to eat it all ... but we all did our duty just the same.

Yes, I think this knife will do the job ...

I must be careful with that trumpet.

"All my own work"

Well, it is time to put the camera away and 'Tuck In'. Bye!
