A bit of history about the Devil's Arrows, a line of Bronze Age standing stones near Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. Images taken from the 6th edition (1831) of 'Ripon(and surrounding areas), a tourist's companion'.

Its interesting to note that the conclusion as to the builders is entirely wrong!
