Qualifications: BA(Hons) Geography, Dunelm; Diploma in Landscape design,
University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, External Examinations of the RTPI.
Previously a Planning Assistant at Sunderland Metropolitan Borough, and Lecturer at Glasgow School of Art.
Recent publications have included A Public Art Strategy for Glasgow City
Centre, and contributions on cultural policy in Western Europe, landscape assessment
and design, environmental art and tourism, creative planning and events in urban
regeneration.
Teaching and thesis supervision interests: sustainable development, measurement
of the natural environment, environmental ethics and landscape design.
Outside interests include art, rugby, travel, historic buildings and landscapes.
