This section has been provided so that YOU the user know how to get around (or 'Navigate' in Internet speak) our web site. It is quite simple really, what is now demonstrated is the same for all sections in this web site.

Please Note : none of these icons/logos used here are activated. They will not take you to that place in the web site.

Simply click on the information icon/text on the home page [Information]

You will see a standard screen in all the pages on this web site (as you can see from this page). The department logo acts as a home button so that you can click on to get back to the Departments initial Home Page. This is accompanied by the university crest which is not a link.

This is also supported by the DEP Home icon [DEP Home] which is located at the bottom of each page. This also takes you back to the main /initial Home Page.

The University of Strathclyde icon [University Home] , however takes you back to the homepage for the University as a whole, not this Department.

Below these two logo's you will see an Up icon .

This UP icon allows you to go back to a higher level (as indicated by the text below, i.e.[DEP Home]). So say for example you are in the student's page, click on this UP icon/text and it will take you back to the Information Index.

To move BACK to where you came from, you will have to use the BACK button supplied on the main options bar of your web browser.

The menu's in most pages are easy to follow and are always followed by another set of Icons at the bottom of each page so you can link to other parts of the Web site.
