[my 140mW ERP makes this the lowest powered Atlantic crossing ever]

For a change, I decided to send at 10s dot speed. This proved to be a mistake as conditions were very good and John was viewing in a bandwidth better suited for 30s dots.

The thick line is M0BMU's huge signal. He is sending 90-second dashes. The Morse at the bottom is from G3AQC who is using DFCW (dots at the bottom and dashes - same lengths as the dots - a the top) - the visible bit says "3AQ".

My signals can be seen at the top, and because I am sending too fast for the bandwidth you can only see the dashes clearly. Just visible are the dashes (and a blur of the dots) of "3XDV".

Success at last!

My 60s dots and 120s dashes received clearly at last. You can see that the 'dots' are made from two 30s dashes (the longest I can transmit), and the dashes from four 30s dashes. Visible on this composite of two pictures is "XDV".
