(front to back) David, G0MRF; Derek, G3GRO; and Alan, G3NYK at the LF station. The huge coil in the foreground was built by Derek and is wound with Litz wire on a drain piping former

(front to back) Derek, G3GRO; Lech, G3KAU; Alan, G3NYK. Derek is using a handheld to speak to G0MRF who was outside working on the antenna

Jim, M0BMU (left) is working Markus, DF6NM, watched by Andy, G4JNT. Andy had just commented to the audience that DF6NM's QRSS3 signal was so strong he should try Hellschrieber, when Markus started sending Hell characters (who needs LF when telepathy woks so well?)

Alan, G3NYK, is giving his lecture on 136kHz propagation. That 'spider' on the screen is really a diagram of the Earth's magnetosphere. Watching, on the right of the picture, is John, G3WKL, mugging up on LF just in case he ever gets on the band again!
