White Metal ADP Turban Badge (Full Size)
with reverse clearly showing the pin for fixing badge to the Navy Blue Turban.
(Badge was adopted in 1974)

Shoulder Epaulettes and Rank Chevrons (Not to scale)


 Left to Right - Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Other-Ranks, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant, Corporal
The rank of Sub-Inspector was abolished in 1982, and the rank substituted by that of Inspector.
Note the Other-Ranks Police
Number in White Metal
Staff Sergeants wore White Metal Chevrons with the Kings Crown above as Queens Crown was never used
Sergeants and Corporals wore standard No7 dress cloth chevrons.
1st & 2nd Class Constables wore no rank markings
Royal Army Ordnance Corps Red & Blue Lanyard, Stable Belt and Anodised Buttons were authorised to be worn by all ranks.
