The following are Badges of Appointment worn since the formation of the RLC in 1993
All badges are of the Royal Arms in Wreath
Worn with Pullover Order and Service Dress
Left hand badge - With Red Border ~ Right hand
badge - With Scarlet Border
Also note the colour variation in Blue Wreath.
Wire Bullion on Scarlet felt backing
Left - For wear with Mess Dress ~ Right - For wear
with No1 Dress.
Anodised Aluminium Badge with Scarlet felt backing
For wear when in Shirt Sleeve Order.
Left - Brown on Green Woven for wear on the sleeve of 'Green' DPM 'Pre Combat
95' Jackets.
Right -DPM Woven example for wear on the front of DPM 'Combat 95' Smocks &
Shirts.
Left - Gold on Sand Woven example for wear on the sleeve of 'Desert' DPM 'Pre
Combat 95' Jackets.
Right -DPM Woven example for wear on the front of 'Desert' DPM 'Combat 95'
Smocks & Shirts.
A Conductor's version of the Black on Green 'Stick-on' badge for NBC Suits was
not produced.
The standard Warrant Officer Class 1 badge is worn instead.
