About the Association

Committee meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Church Hall. They start at 8.15pm. Everyone is welcome.

The Association produces a free biannual magazine � The Danescourt Newsletter. This is delivered to every home, as well as doctors� surgeries, libraries, etc. It organises the Annual Summer Festival, which takes place on the 1st Saturday in July, and is held on Matthew Walk Green, the Church Hall and Radyr Court Inn.

Some of the results of actions taken by the Association are:

Through constant canvassing and with the assistance of our Councillors, Danescourt is now included within the catchment area for Radyr Comprehensive School. The school is consistently one of the top achieving schools in South Wales.

Following a long campaign involving meetings with various departments of the City Council, the Councillors for Radyr and Llandaff and the Headmaster of Radyr Comprehensive School, a well-lit tarmac path was eventually constructed across the school field. This meant children could get to and from school without getting soaking wet and covered in mud, as had previously happened
