About Us

This site is owned and run by Midnight Diamond a.k.a. Marc Draco on behalf of the concerned parents of Coulby Newham and Hemlington in particular, but wherever else the insidious scourge of the Emmanuel Foundation attempts to insinuate itself. A benign Christian operation to improve education in run-down areas of the North or a cynical attempt by extremists to get their ideas into the minds of the most vulnerable section of our society? You decide - this site cuts through the spin examines the facts and debates the issues.

Unlike many personal and small websites, this one is peer-reviewed and edited by the Secular Newsline within hours of each article appearing. While this does not guarantee fairness for the faithful, it does ensure that facts are checked within a reasonable timeframe.

Except where noted, all the articles have been written by Marc and are copyrighted. Permission to use any facts or claims from this website is expressly permitted when producing literature challenging (directly or indirectly) the work of the Emmanuel Foundation. All other reproduction is expressly forbidden without prior consent of the appropriate author(s) except as permitted by fair use under existing copyright law.

The credit "6" in these writings has, I hasten to add, nothing to do with 666 (or 366) the devil's number because I don't believe in the devil any more than I believe in a god. In fact, it alludes to the Number 6 assigned to the Prisoner in the cult TV series. Why? Because Number 6 was battling against an unseen enemy and that's how I felt when I began this struggle against oppressive and invasive Evangelical Christianity. This "faith" is so terrified to lose its grip on society, that it's even sending messengers into supermarkets for Pete's sake! But worse, and this is where I came in, the New Labour government have let them into education and that just won't do!

I am not an atheist and I don't particularly enjoy the term agnostic; simply that my thinking is unfettered by a belief of any sort. While I respect the opinion of teachers like Richard Dawkins, extreme atheists (they know who they are) can no more align with me than the Pope. Both ends of the spectrum have their bigots and this site is about expunging bigotry and racism from government funded schools. I am quite happy for theists and atheists to contact me, but threats and idiotic bigotry of any sort will not be tolerated and may be published without warning.

If you want to see what an extreme atheist really thinks like, consider this site: http://www.wankle.co.uk/ Now some might agree with the designer here, but to me this site is so dogmatic and abusive it simply loses the argument in its own quagmire of anti-religious bile. Free thinkers on the other hand are not so polarised, can consider both sides of the argument and challenge it on open ground.

I am indebted to the work of Adam Tjaavk, who has intelligently and brilliantly edited most of the articles, Beverley Rowe for sparring intelligently (even when we don't agree) and others* at the Secular Newsline for moral support. Not forgetting Blackshadow who gave me the idea and the push to get the whole thing started and continues to pick me up when idiots get on top of me.
