Links do not have to be Royal Corps of Signals related sites - anything
that you think others may enjoy or find useful. All will be considered.
Corporate and potential Job Providers sites are most welcome.
If you wish to have your 'Homepage' appear here please email me.

Have your links published
on RSOL
I am more than willing to
accept links to any pages on the Net and publish them on these pages
(within reason!). There is no 'qualifying criteria' here apart from the
fact that the pages must be suitable for 'home viewing'!
The only 'cost' to the owner
maybe a reciprocal link to this site appearing on their page. So, if you
have a home page and want to get it noticed, email me and I will endeavour
to include your link here.
Likewise, if there are any
other sites that you believe may hold interest for other members, or
indeed if you get commission for dragging punters in, then please feel
free to email me with the URLs. As this section grows, it is likely that I
will categorize it for ease of reference, but for now it will appear as
either a 'Corp Related' or 'Non Corps Related' listing with a short site
explanation.
Links - Corps Related
-
The Royal Signals Museum
- Probably the 'most hit'
Royal Signals site - the one that I want to emulate!
-
Jimmy In Business
- A close second to the
Museum - but still an excellent 'networking site' [Note: when last
checked this site was under construction and therefore temporarily
unavailable]
-
The Royal Signals Amateur Radio Society
- One for the 'Bleeps'
within our ranks!
-
The RROBN -
Originally a 'Members only' site, in that membership was restricted to
Radio Relay ops only. However they let me join some months ago and I'm
an operator, so why not check it out.
-
The Army Website
- The award winning Army
Website, this link take you to the Corp pages within - well worth a
visit - highly recommended.
-
Dave's Experience
- The inspiration for this site. Don't know the guy, but his site is a
journal of his time in the Corps. Nostalgic trip down memory lane -
check it out - you may get a mention or even see some names you
recognize.
-
Team 749 - Appears to be some pages set up by ex Corp
members, obviously into 'hot hatches' and bikes. Includes a good links
page which may prove of interest to some of the serving members who are
considering leaving. (Be warned there are also some ADULT links on this
site)
-
Adventure Country
- Adrian Glasgow, an ex Corp member runs this Adventure Centre on the
shores of Loch Nevis, Scotland. Catering for all outdoor activities,
Rock Climbing, Paint Balling, Sailing, Clay Pigeon shooting to name but
a few. He has emailed me and said that he would be pleased to give
discounts for Corp Members and their families.
-
Soothing Hands
- This one page website advertises the services of a Stress Management
Programme, a business run by former Corps member Mervyn Foster.
-
Moodyblue's Place
- Another ex Corps man who has claimed his corner of the web. The site
includes pictures and words depicting his time in the Signals and a good
links page. But take my advice, go straight to the Corps Myth's page
and laugh your socks off - its hilarious.
-
Palace Barracks Memorial Garden -
Albert Owens is the custodian of this site and requested that it be
included on this links page. This site is for those servicemen
killed in Northern Ireland and the Falklands. It includes a
memorial for Royal Corps of Signals soldiers killed in Northern Ireland.
-
208 Signal Squadron
- Pam McDonald, an 'Army Wife', has requested that I include this site
that she has put together about 208 Signal Squadron which was attached
to 28 Commonwealth Brigade, Terendak Camp Malacca, in Malaysia during
the 1960's.
Links - Non Corps Related
-
Google
- Extremely fast,
efficient 'Search Engine' - if you want something, look for it here -
chances are, it will find it!
-
EBuyer
- If your looking for anything to do with PC's, chances are you will
find it here at the lowest prices around. The RAM prices are the
best I have found, and when I have used them the service has always been
first class.
-
Bravenet - If your a novice looking to start your own
website, you could do a lot worse than start here. This site gives
a compressive suite of utilities for building your own site - much of
what they have to offer is incorporated into this site. All
utilities come with easy to read instructions on how to incorporate them
into your web pages, and best of all - they're free!
-
Tucows
- If your looking for applications for download, look here first.
Literally hundreds of downloads available, all types, all apps. all OS's.
