For Research

Estimates given where possible.    The hourly charges are for work in the Records Offices or on the Internet.    I do not charge for my travelling expenses and the time taken to write up your report.

In the East Midlands

£20 per hour

Minimum Charge  :    £20.00

Please note : The minimum charge is required in advance of an order for new customers.  

Once we have established a working relationship this charge is waived and I will bill you for work completed.

GRO Certificates    :    £10.00 for one

Add £8.00 per certificate for more than one in the same order.

In other Counties of England

London - £25.00 per hour when I go on the Family History Society bus trip

Other Counties prices on request but usually no more than £30.00 per hour

Family History Talks

£35.00 for a talk from 1st January 2009, but will add travelling expenses if

more than 20 miles from Melton Mowbray.

I am prepared to travel up to about 50 miles from my home.

Genealogy Courses

See the prospectus for the various colleges - however,

courses or individual sessions can be arranged to suit your needs.

Charges for courses held at the LRFHS Research Centre at Pilot House, Leicester :-

For any of the ten week courses - £60.00

Minimum numbers required to run these courses = 8 people.

Please make cheques out to 'Mick Rawle' as that is the name of my business bank account

Sterling if possible please, but I do accept payment in the currency of your country, however, there is about a ten pounds charge for exchanging it, so please ensure you include the equivalent of that charge in the amount you send.
