RAZZLE DAZZLE

Razzle Dazzle are a bunch of shop soiled rock’n’rollers who were there the first time round, played everything for anything, then finally got together in the summer of ’97 to create a band based on the incomparable music of Bill Haley and his Comets.

Initially unaware of the huge circuit of rock’n’roll clubs thriving throughout the country, they were content to play pub gigs and parties, even on one occasion playing in Guildford High Street.

It was during that gig that by chance they were spotted by Cool Cat Keith who runs the Hot Fifties Club in Guildford. Keith had the courage to book this unknown group, and despite being under rehearsed they made quite an impression with the locals.

Another lucky break was the presence of Wildcat Pete who spread good words at other venues. Before long the tom toms were doing their magic and the gigs began to pour in.

Razzle Dazzle are a six piece outfit, and are proud they are nearly as old as the original Comets (sorry Emma).
