J  Smile! And enjoy Guides

J  Participate in all activities

J  Try new activities and experiences – take pride in what you’ve achieved

J  Work together in patrols – work towards Go For It’s, badges and other patrol activities

J  Wear uniform (and footwear appropriate to the activity) – it’s not Mum’s responsibility to make sure it’s clean for Wednesday, it’s yours

J  Learn from others and pass on what you’ve learnt

J  Think of others – be respectful of others' feelings and beliefs

J  Punctuality is important, try to arrive on time

J  Keep mobiles, mp3 players etc on silent and in your pocket/bag

J  Bring G-files, pen and paper when asked

J  Be organised – remember things you need for meetings, Go For It’s, badges, forms, money etc

J  Remember the Guide Law and Promise

J  Guide camp should, where possible, be in the rain – jumping in puddles is fun!

J  Have fun!
