Able Seaman Robert Eames.
In the middle of September (2001) I received an email from Barbara Pope in Australia. Barbara's Father, Robert Eames, served on the 'London' for the whole of the 1947-1949 Commission although sadly he died in 1969. In one of her emails Barbara mentioned that her Mother had a number of items that might be of interest to the Association. A large envelope arrived from Barbara by airmail and you will find some wonderful photographs and papers on the following pages.
The Association extends its thanks to Mrs. Eames for her kindness in allowing us to borrow and display the items on the following pages.
