In the Royal Navy Plot John Dunstan had placed a large cross on behalf of the Yangtze Incident Four Ships Association whilst Taffy Williams placed a smaller one on behalf of the London Association.

 The Royal Navy Plot in the Garden of Remembrance.

Taffy places a Wooden Cross on behalf of HMS London.
The inscription read:


Our thoughts are for those who lost their lives in
China in 1949 and have crossed the bar since.
We remember you today as we did yesterday and
will tomorrow. You are forever in our thoughts.
