Following an opening address from Association Chairman John Parker Assistant Curator Sue Lyndsay accepted the Bell Ropes into the safe keeping of the Museum . Sue welcomed those present, including representatives from HM Ships Amethyst and Consort, and thanked everyone for coming. She said how delighted the Museum was to receive the Bell Ropes as there was very little in their collection relating to the Yangtze Incident.
