HMS London and WWll.
In mid 1999 I received an email from a chap named Bill Jacobs. During W.W.II Bill was Secretary to Captain Richard Symonds-Tayler D.S.C. R.N., commanding officer of HMS London. Bill sent me two photographs of "London" taken in November 1943 as she escorted the Battle Cruiser "Renown", with Churchill on board, to the Teheran Conference. It was at this Conference that Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin decided the partitioning of Europe at the end of W.W.II.
