Below are recent photographs of the parade ground area and drill shed of HMS Pembroke. At this time the buildings are in a state of disrepair unlike those taken over by the University of Greenwich. Chatham Maritime is slowly working to return them to their former glory. You will note the new roof's on some of the drill shed buildings.

Entrance to parade ground.
Every Sunday all personnel would assemble for Church Parade. They would enter the parade ground through the arch in the centre of the above photo. The sailors and Wrens would march past the centre steps with PO's and Master at Arms ensuring the lines were straight. Once past the saluting platform a right turn would take them into the drill shed where they would fall out and return to barracks.
