MANICURE PROCEDURE!
Step by step guides to do a proper manicure with friends:
Prepare manicure bowl or just use an old bowl, fill the bowl with warm water. Check your friend's hands for any contra-indications. Contra-indications are any form of skin problems on the hand .i.e. warts, new scar tissue bruises, or any fungal diseases.
Ask your friend to select her colour, check consistency.
Remove any nail polish. Check around the cuticle using an orange stick wrapped in cotton wool.
Take one hand at a time, cut file and then shape.
Apply cuticle cream, massaging thumb and little finger, index and ring finger, middle and thumb.
Soak right hand, prepare the left as above.
Now take out the right hand and soak the left.
Dry right hand, then apply cuticle remover around the cuticles and under the free edge. The free edge is the tip of the nail.
Gently push back the cuticle, only cut if you have hang nail, i.e. hanging bits of skin.
Repeat on left hand.
Now massage each hand, one at a time.
Remove any oil from the nail with nail varnish remover.
Wipe over the nail with clear water to make sure the nail is free from any oil or product, which would stop the nail polish from lasting.
Select the base coat.
Apply colour-two coats.
one coat of top coat to complete the manicure.
