CHOOSING THE RIGHT FACE MASK
Choosing the right face mask?
Mud masks are specially formulated to gently draw out impurities and cleanse blocked pores, whilst absorbing excess oil in the skin. If you are using a mud mask, use it a week before your plans to go out, this is because it draws out the impurities, which may cause spots. How to use? Apply the mask to your entire face avoiding your eye and mouth area. Allow about 10-15 minutes to dry. Remove with warm water and pat dry.
Self heating masks:
Using a self-heating mask will gently open your pores enabling deep down cleansing.
How to use? Gently apply the mask, concentrating on the T zone i.e. fore head, nose and chin. Massage gently with your fingertips, this will trigger the self heating action, usually you rinse after a minute of massaging or follow the instructions on your product.
Pore reducing masks:
Pore reducing face mask will help reduce the appearance of large unsightly pores, leaving the skin smoother, with a more refined texture. How to use? Massage using your fingertips, into the face and neck, leave for about 10-15 minutes. When dry rinse off.
Peel off masks:
Peel off masks are usually in gel form and they are really great to peel off.
How to use? Apply to your face and neck, allow 10-15 minutes for it to dry, and then peel off to reveal refreshed, youthful looking skin.
Body masks help to deep cleanse your body and to help stimulate the skin, leaving it moisturised and soft.
Tip: Always keep you hair out of the way while using a face mask, you should tie hair back and use a headband. Also avoid getting any face mask on your eyebrows.
