EYE SHAPES AND EYE BROWS!

Eyes are the first feature people notice, so make the most of them. Here are some hints and tips on how to make the most of them:
Wide set, you could make them slightly more central. Focus on the inner corners of your eyes by using a medium or dark eyeshadow. The colour should get lighter as it moves out to create a more natural finish. Avoid using light, shimmery shades on the inner corners of your eyes, as this will make them look even more wider apart. Also make sure your mascara is sufficiently applied on the lashes in the inner corner.
Almond shaped eyes are the easiest to make up. There is nothing you can't do with this shape eye. You can go soft, natural, dark, you don't even need to wear colour, just keep them nude with a couple of coats of black mascara.
The secret to small eyes is to stick to light, pale and shimmery eyeshadows. Swept over the entire eye will really open the eyes up. Stay clear of dark colours as they have a shrinking effect. If you would like to have wider eyes, use white eyeliner on the upper and lower lids. Also curling your eyelashes or using a few individual fake lashes on the outer corners will make them appear to be wider.
Oriental eyes have eyelids that are particularly invisible when your eyes are open. Go for medium toned eye shadow over your lids and brows, sweep some highlighter over your brow bone using a light eye shadow. Oriental lashes tend to be short and fine, so choose a lash building mascara or use a few individual fake lashes.
The secret to close eyes is to focus on the outer corners and apply dark eyeshadow on the outer third of the eyes. Use a light eyeshadow on the inner corners. When applying mascara, concentrate more on the outer lashes.
Tips:
Eye shadows you can wear in winter and summer. Look for pastel colours, these shades are pale pinks, pale greens, pale blues, lavender, white and pale violet.
Eye shadows you can wear for the autumn and spring are warm shades, these are bronze, coppers, golds, honey browns and coffee browns.
Smokey eyes look very attractive but require a lot of patience. Smokey shades can change the shape of your eyes and with a bit of blending can make small eyes seem much bigger.
Eyeliner comes in a liquid or pencil form. Eyeliner is designed to define your eyes and to make them stand out. Eye pencils can be used on the top eyelid and the bottom rim. When you use an eye pencil on the eyelid, use an eyeshadow to soften it. Liquid liner is used on the eyelid, it is more difficult to apply and needs a steady hand.
Using eyelash curlers is the fastest way to sexier eyes. Try gently warming metal curlers with a hairdryer. This will give you more of an effect.
Tips for getting rid of dark circles around the eyes:
Gently massage almond oil on the dark area before you go to sleep at night.
Dip cotton pads in cold milk or fig juice. Place the pads on your closed eyes and relax for 10 minutes.
Eye brows:
The one feature on your face that can be altered is the eyebrows, well-groomed eyebrows help to draw attention to the eyes and make them look bigger. Changing the colour or shape of your eyebrows can transform your face. Widely spaced eyebrows draw attention away from a big nose and towards the eyes. As a guide, your eyebrows should line up with the inner corners of you eyes, so start plucking from there. Always use a good pair of tweezers with a good point. Never pluck above the eyebrow, always go from below in the direction the hair is growing. You should pluck one hair at a time. If plucking your eyebrows is very painful, pluck them after a warm bath or shower to open the pores. If you change your hair colour, you can also change the colour of your eyebrows. If you change the colour of your hair from dark to light and you have dark eyebrows, and want them to go lighter, you can go to a professional salon and they will tint your eyebrows. Never try to dye your eyebrows yourself. If you have fair eyebrows and would like them darker, and don't want to have a permanent colour on them, enhance them with either a brow pencil or an eyeshadow, which are one or two shades darker than your natural colour. Another way to get defined eyebrows is permanent make up, this is very good for people with no eyebrows or thinning eyebrows.
