Welcome to rosieribbons.com
VERSION 2.0
This site is dedicated
to the sassy pop idol singer Rosie Ribbons. The site is heavily
still under construction, but my aim is to created the ULTIMATE hot spot for all
info on Rosie as well as precise info on official releases and the variety of
promos and other items out there!

I am searching for any TV
interviews/performances, magazine articles, pictures, any live audio recordings.
I am especially after:
* Live recording (audio or video)/photos of Rosie on tourwith Liberty X or Blue
(One Love Tour) * The Sun newspaper (feat. Promo pictures of Rosie smoking,
graffiti-ing etc) * Any footage of her school tour.

Hello RR fans, again nothing much to report. I've recently came
into possession of some rare live performances and will be
uploading them as & when. You can now check out a live version of
"Blink" from one of Rosie's School Tours she did in the Media
section.

A year on since the explosion
of news after Rosie's American Idol performance, things have
quietened down a bit. The recent updates have been to the links
section; with links to collectables, producers & network sites.
Hopefully we'll get something concrete soon.

31/08/2007:
Dubbo's local newspaper the "Daily Liberal" has been very
supportive towards Rosie and have written several articles in
support. Please find below links to the articles:

If anyone can actually help me find
a hard copy (paper one) of the above articles please email me :o)

2nd album; so far not much is known lol. I have been in contact
with one of Rosie's producers and can confirm that she has
recorded 6 or so tracks with a more mature vocal sound, and has
also worked on several tracks with a producer called Alonestar. He
is an urban artist that basically raps/mc's and Rosie has recorded
several hooks for the chorus. I've added another Australian Idol
video to the media section which contains a small teaser clip of
Rosie looking gorge and singing "Heaven." I'm very excited about
the sudden influx of news!!
Confirmed tracks; Nothing's
Changed, Butterfly Wings & If Only The World Could Smile.
I have been lucky to hear all these tracks in full and can tell
you that they are all amazing! Check back soon! Love

I had really given up hope that I
would be posting anything substantial on the site. So you can
imagine my surprise when a friend emailed me saying that Rosie had
auditioned for Australian Idol, made the Top100 & then the
Top24!!! There are some new photos, which are now on a slideshow
on her myspace, I'm sooooo pleased to say that she looks great!
The photo of her back in Wales singing with at the OpenMic night
wasn't terrible flattering.... but she looks amazing! Woo hoo! I
have rips of new songs performed live on the show. You can find
them in the download section; "Butterfly Wings" (video
here) which is a session from Rosie's second album is the
third new track I have heard and I love the new direction of the
sound, "Everybody Hurts" (video
here) is a cover of the R.E.M. classic, and a group quad
effort with "End of The Road" (made famous by Boyz II Men) (video
added to the Media section). Other tracks that Rosie has performed
on the show have been "Heaven" (the Bryan Adams track ... not
Rosie's) and "Stand By Me" (Ben E. King classic). These will be
available when I get my hands on them :o)

Again humble apologies for the
lack of updates, but I can only update when I find anything worth
reporting. Just like previously I have been getting numerous
offers of work for Rosie, from many reputable sources but have no
way of relaying these requests to her. Rosie if you do visit my
website, please email me at: mceyedol@ntlworld.com
thankyou. Bits of info to report are that I was lucky enough to
hear one of Rosie's new songs "If Only The World Could Smile",
I was amazed at the space between the instrumentation and the
focus on vocals. Has definitely got me super excited about the new
music!
An
artist called Sandy Moelling has covered Rosie's album track
"Trusted", it appeared on her latest release in Germany.
You can listen to short clip of Sandy's version here,
it's not that different to Rosie's. The production is smoother and
less rocky, I personally prefer Rosie's version (but then I would
lol!). Finally there is space on myspace for Rosie! now you can
all show your support by requesting to be her friend. The address
is http://www.myspace.com/officialrosieribbons
That's
it for now my lovelies, take care. Love
