Welcome to The News Archive, a place where I stick all the old news! 09/05/2006: 26/04/2006: 15/04/2006: Unfortunately I have bad news... the saga of "Groove Is In The Heart" has hit a brick wall. It seems the person that had the recording can no longer find the cd that they lent to their best friend's sisters, mothers, uncle etc... to complicated to explain but looks like we won't ever get to hear it. It really does frustrate me to know that there is material out there that isn't getting heard. Rosie I want you to know I love you and hope you realise there are still fans out there that still care for you and want some new music! The only other updates to report is the addition of a "Videos" section to the Multimedia part of the site. So far you will find watchable videos for Blink (Promo Video) & Blink (Live @ TOTP). That's it for now. Take care, Love Mike (AKA MCEyedol/blink4rosie) x x 06/06/2005: We've got a new name! goodthing.tk was getting filled with lots of ads and now we are officially the #1 Rosie Fansite! Yay! This month's update can bring you lots of juicy news!!! On the website front; I've reworked some of the sections and made others more accessible. Added a few new banners and piece of gfx here and there :o) Okay onto the NEWS! A new demo recorded by Rosie has surfaced called "Nothing's Changed", credit for this find goes to my friend Chris Adelaide. The track was produced by Quince Studios and has a completely different feel to anything produced on her debut album, Misbehaving. The sound is under-produced, laid back, with real instruments and dreamy vocals... you can hear a small clip in the downloads section. Also Chris was very lucky to have a telephone conversation with Rosie (the transcript will follow soon) and she was currently on her way to London. She has been visited London quite often recently and this ties in perfectly with the new music that is surfacing! Keeping my fingers crossed, Rosie I love you and hope you realise there are still fans out there that still care for you and want some new music! Unfortunately there's no update in the never ending "Groove Is In The Heart" saga, but I'm hopeful we'll get it one day. The remaining bits of news are the discovery of various new pictures/magazine articles. You may of noticed the lush picture above which is taken from the Sunday Express magazine "S" when Rosie was on the cover. Chris also found a new "Little Bit" promo pictures and a magazine article, which featured in Now Magazine, basically it followed Rosie on her trip to get hair extensions in preparation of her new video (You can see the article in the gallery). The interesting thing is that the video that was mentioned was "Heaven", which means that this was considered as a single in it's own right. Even more exciting is that there could be a video for Heaven somewhere!!!! That's it for now. Don't worry goodthing.tk will not be affected, although I do have plans to buy some more webspace to bring you bigger and better things.... including downloadable videos and such like. I have a very nice
agent who deals with work and I take alot of time thinking about things and
ideas of how to go about things. The way you are talking is that I am stuck in a
box somewhere, sad, but the truth is I'm not. I enjoy very much being a lady of
leisure doing something other to singing which I love, and that is shopping, as
well as spending alot of time with my family and doing alot of work locally and
for charity. I enjoy where I am in my life at the moment and keep my musical
memories very close to me. Who knows what will happen in the future? Personally I don't know what to make of it, is it real? is it not? Either way I'm not sure and it comes across as quite a defensive message and I don't believe Rosie would treat us like this. Here is the direct link to the post where you can read peoples responses to the message. Again the updates are very sparse as there is no official news... we just have to play the waiting game. As a special treat I have uploaded a lovely mid tempo ballad called "Even Angels" as a little special something as it's near Christmas! You can find it in the download section of the multimedia page. As if that wasn't enough a lovely friend of mine Hans has designed some gorgeous artwork for the album (which can also be found in the download section). Take care Love Mike (AKA MCEyedol/blink4rosie) x x 16/10/2004: Also recently I have come into possession quite a few LIVE Rosie recordings and am hoping to post a live album when I get the time to do the tweaking of the files and designing some artwork. But at the moment I'm concentrating on the upcoming new album/single from Mariah so apologies for the sparsity of updates. The Groove Is In The Heart soundfile is closer than we realise and can honestly say that we will have a recording in the next 6 months! Yay! Other small updates include some photos I found of Rosie attending the film premiere of Lord of The Rings: Twin Towers in Dec 2002. You'll find the pix in the gallery. The lyrics page has had a reshuffle to make it easier to get to directly what you want. Take care and stay sexy! M x 03/09/2004: I will hopefully be posting a download of the file after I've finished my latest Remix Project. Other additions to the Audiography are, a NEW live version of "Heaven", "Blink", "Little Bit", recorded from a promotional tour in Brighton (Click here for the pictures), a new live version of "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" and a new Sky Interview soundfile. Also here is a new cute photo I found of Rosie, in a signed Polaroid style! This could be one of the most up-to-date pics we have! Chris is using all his contacts and sources to try and bring you the "Groove Is In The Heart" sound file, so I'm afraid you are gonna have to wait a little bit longer for it. My next update will be a downloads section, hopefully of some album clips and rare live tracks! Exciting news that I have been able to confirm first hand is that Rosie did record a studio version of "Groove Is In The Heart", I was in contact with Rosie's PR Manager, Louise, at Telstar. She confirmed several things to me, there is also footage of a video showcase of Rosie performing one of her last gigs and a recording of her supporting Blue. At this showcase, Louise said that Rosie sang a reworked version of Louise Nurdings "Naked" OMG!! I couldn't believe it when she said that, I could imagine Rosie doing this track justice, she is naturally sexy and sassy just like the track! Also in some kind of weird poetic justice, Telstar Records were reported to have started undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. Rosie parted company over a year ago and I am disappointed at the news, as I had made a very valuable contact at the label. Telstar we're infamous for churning out compilation cd's, and had Victoria Beckham and Mis-Teeq as some of their clientele. One thing though..... wonder what happens to all the Rosie stuff?!? Other news is related to the Eye-Dol Network, I have recently finished some new remixes of Lisa Scott-Lee's "U Sure Do"... it's a piece of Disco Diva pie and will have you reaching for your handbag! There are both urban and club mixes, will let you all know when they are up. Ta ta for now! 15/05/2004: News wise, we're pretty quiet (as usual) lol! Just a few updates to the Audiography courtesy of Chris Adelaide, who emailed me with a few more finds... one especially that has me really excited is a demo version of "Blink." This would of been a version that the songwriter had recorded to give producers an idea of what the song sounds like :o) and the next track that has me wetting my pants (metaphorically of course) is a live version of Groove Is In The Heart. Those of us in the know, this was planned as the third single to try and gain a chart hit, but was never released due to Rosie parting company with her label :( Other news is related to the Eye-Dol Network, I have recently finished some new remixes of Lisa Scott-Lee's "Sleazy"... incidentally this is an artist in the same kind of predicament as Rosie (two singles, album recorded then dropped), anyways Sleazy was a funky piece to eletroklash sleaziness! Anyways I have made two sorts of mixes, one in style of DJ Tiga and the others more clubby. They only have a few days left on the downloads before they expire. So get em fast. I'm attempting to write down all the album lyrics, so we'll see what happens soon! 07/05/2004: Not much news to report, I received a recent email from Chris Adelaide who was kind enough to provide me with some new information on some missing versions/mixes that I added to the Audiography. Also under multimedia you'll find some lyrics to three of Rosie's songs, finding wallpapers is difficult, but I've managed to make a couple... they're not brilliant, but they're a start to the section :) I hope to soon post a rare audio file from time to time, so keep your eyes peeled! I don't know if this is real or not but

a few pieces of info, I'm excited to confirm that Rosie's cover of "Groove
Is In The Heart" does exist. I was played a brief clip and I can honestly
say I was blow away! I've been officially informed that Rosie is taking a break
from recording and is in Australia visiting family. The only other update is the
addition of a signed copy of Blink! to my Rosie collection. Take care, Love

Popjustice and many other internet resources! I am sorry for the lack of
updates, it's nearly been a whole year... but alas news is very scarce. I wish I
was updating to inform you of something more concrete, unfortunately not. I seem
to be getting continued emails from businesses/firms for work for Rosie
(modeling, singing, personal appearances) and it seems a real shame that I have
no way to contact her to inform her of all the opportunities out there.
