28/11/09:
The night before the
Choreography Competition Final.... I want to thank everyone for
their emails/txts/support of my dance "Light Up". The script for
"Bad Romance"
is now available for download. Overcome will follow asap lol. Luv BB
xx
15/11/09:
I'm in the new house,
but I'll be living in chaos for quite some time. The festive season
is coming upon us closer by the weeks and I'm very excited :) Onto
the dances... "Overcome",
a 32 count 2 wall intermediate nightclub is to the beautiful power
ballad Overcome from Alexandra Burke's new album of the same name.
"Bad Romance", is a 32 count, 2 wall (that due to a restart is
danced on all 4 walls) easy intermediate dance to the fabulous new
single from Lady GaGa. Video demos/samples of music are all
available and scripts to follow asap. Luv BB xx
27/10/09:
The semi-finals of the
choreography competition were yesterday and I'm shocked, surprised
and humbled that my dance "Light
Up" was
successful in making it to the finals next month in Southport. Thank
you to Lesley Rands for getting us there (albeit a bit late and a
bit lost lol) and all those that have supported the dance. Luv BB xx
01/09/09:
The house move is still
ongoing but completion looks to be late September. I have several
completed new dances and they will be released over the next few
weeks. The first release is "BadBoyz",
a 32 count improver dance to the fabulous new single by Alexandra
Burke. A sample of the music can also be found in the members zone.
Luv BB xx
12/07/09:
The scripts for both "La
Femme Nikita" and "J.L.S.
(Just Linedance Sexily)" are now available. Luv BB xx
08/07/09:
I cannot believe we
are in July already. A review of the charity workshop can be found
here. The script for "La
Femme Nikita" is slightly delayed but should be out before the
end of the week. There is also another new dance but more Newline in
steps coming out end of this week to JLS's new single Beat Again.
The dance is called "J.L.S.
(Just Linedance Sexily)" and you can get a sneaky preview
of the dance online as the video demo is uploaded to youtube. The
script will follow soon. The members zone has also been updated with
music from the workshops. Luv BB xx
30/06/09:
The Charity Workshop
was a huge success! James and Step-In-Line put an immense amount of
work into it, we were blessed with gorgeous weather and a great
turnout. All dances taught went down well. A full review of the
workshop and dance playlist will be available
here asap :) A comprehensive video of my charity launched dance
"Ready, Set,
GO!" is now online and includes a demo, a teach and a practice
walkthrough. Thanks to all the words of support from dancers at the
event. Luv BB xx
27/06/09:
The script for "Ready,
Set, GO!" is now released, this was written for Step-In-Line's
Charity Workshop (28/06/09). The video will follow over the next few
days. The script & video for "La
Femme Nikita" are now available as well. Looking forward to
seeing you all tomorrow! Luv BB xx
29/05/09:
The video demo and
script for "Light
Up" is now online... I don't often write slow dances and this
was specifically written for 2 special friends of mine. Luv BB xx
15/05/09:
A little bit of news on 2
upcoming dances being released this month; "Light Up" a beautiful 2
wall nightclub to Leona Lewis "Run" and "Here 4 The Music" a funky
intermediate dance to Paula Abduls next single. Enjoy Luv BB xx
09/05/09:
Alot of updates coming.... I
had a fab time at Kim's recent workshop and Robbie McGowan Hickie
was as funny as ever :) I launched "I
Hate This Part" my intermediate, 4 wall to the fab Pussycat
Dolls track. The version I used though was a bit different with it
picking up pace to create a stomping dance mix :) Enjoy Luv BB xx
01/05/09:
Just a quickie to say that
the video demo for "Just A Little Poke" is now uploaded. Enjoy! Now
I'm off to bed for my beauty sleep for Kim Ray's Workshop tomorrow
:) Luv BB xx
14/04/09:
With all the drama
that's gone on with the website and ntlworld I've decided to start
afresh. A new design for hopefully a more improved and streamlined
design has begun. I hope for the new site to go live in the next
month or so. Onto a few updates, the script for
"Heavy
Rotation" is now finally available. I finished an improver dance to Poker Face called "Just A Little Poke" :) which is
a nice floor split for Craig Bennet's advanced dance to the same
track. It was ready in February, and is available now :) Luv BB x
03/04/09:
HELLLOOOO! It has been ages
since I've been able to post. For some reason there's been a problem
with my web access. After 2 months of calls, emails I finally manage
to convince them something was wrong and it wasn't from my end! ;)
There are still problems with the site i.e. the server won't let me
add graphics... but at least it's something. So hooray, i'm kinda back online.
I hope to be updating with several new dances
that I've completed during the last 5 months. Watch this space.
Thanks, Luv BB xx
06/01/09:
Happy New Year! My first post
of 2009 and I hope this year brings you even more f un
& dancing! With
the Linedancer
Choreography Competition only 4 days away I can tell you that i'm
starting to get real nervous now.... I know the judges aren't
judging how you dance but the spectators will be lol.
04/12/08:
Finally got round to teaching "Alesha's Boy"
to my class last night. Normally they are my guinea pigs with my
dances but with how crazy busy it's been they've had to wait ;) It
went down a storm, they luved it :). It's moved up the chart again!
and is currently at number 12. I cannot believe it! I'm so flattered
and humble of the support the dance is getting. Thanks, luv BB xx
30/11/08:
Going up 21 places on the
Improver chart is "Alesha's Boy".
It's currently at number 15 and I'm really grateful for the support
people are showing for my dance. Also making an appearance on the
Improvers chart for the first time is "I
Only Go... UP!"
at number 40. In the end I managed to get to the Essex heats today
and I am shocked/surprised to say that I've made the FINAL with "Dance
Like There's No Tomorrow"! Out of 12 contestants, 4 dances have
gone through the the grand final in Southport, with the winner then
going on to teach at the Crystal Boots. Eeeeek! I never in a million
years thought I'd make the semi-final, let alone the final. Thank
you soo much to those who believe in me and support me. I love you.
(now b4 everyone starts to throw up I'm going). Luv BB xx
23/11/08:
A few pieces of news.... I've
made the heats of Linedancer Choreography Competition.
Unfortunately both the North (Manc) & South (Essex) heats are quite
a distance but I'm gonna get to them by hook or by crook :) Other
news; two new videos for "Alesha's Boy" have been uploaded. Both are
from Kim's recent Houghton Conquest Workshop were I was given the
opportunity to teach, the first video is a group demo of everyone
dancing it & instructional voiceover by me and the 2nd one is a
teach video. Sticking with "Alesha's Boy" I am shocked and surprised
to see that my dance is currently Number 36 on the improvers chart
woo hooo! I'm very thankful and loving the fact i've made the Top 50
:) A new demo of "Heavy
Rotation" is now up... I promise the script will follow soon. Thanks everyone. Luv BB xx
