My name is michaela-jane, I live in Darlington, in the UK. I am 44 years old and a single parent. I have a fantastic 16 year old son, Christopher who loves playing computer games. He's in his final year at school and plans to go onto further education. I have just moved into my own house with my son in June 2008.  I have a dog and cats.

Im stubborn, independant, headstrong, blunt and to the point, untrusting and skeptical. I say what I think. Im not into toyboys, webcaming etc so if thats what you are looking for, move on, im not. What you see is what you get. You cant say I didnt warn you!

Ive recently been introuduced to the Maya, their Calendar and Wavespells a subject that has really taken my interest and imagination. I spend many hours researching and learning about the Maya and their Calendar, Wavespells and about Conciousness, Spiritualism and the power of the mind.

I love computers, gadgets, the internet, researching etc. Im good at teaching people about computers and helping them gain confidence in using them as an everyday tool. Im self taught with nearly everything I do, I like the achievement at the end to tell myself I did it!

I love walking, castles, knights and medievil things, stonehenge and old historic ruins, the sea, mountains and lakes. My favourite season is autumn, the colours, frosty mornings, long walks in woods of fallen leaves.

Im a bit of an old fashioned romantic, but I am also very independant and headstrong. I am a loner by nature, a bit insecure and shy until I get to know people. I would rather have a quiet evening in beside a warm fire, or a quiet meal out than go out to parties or the pubs. I don't feel at ease with big crowds, I hate loud music where its impossible to talk. My clubbing days are long gone.

I was born under the sign of Aries, and like the ram I do have a fiery temper and kind of run into things headfirst! I am also the Dragon in the Chinese horoscope, maybe thats why I love Dragons. 

Years ago I did some for fun modeling. Yes these are really me! I was 24 at the time.
