Travel and Accommodation

There are several ways of arranging travel from UK and accommodation to attend the 7th International Airship Convention - 2008:

1.   Do-it-yourself - complete the hotel booking form and follow the submission instructions from the accommodation web page.  For travel, there are direct flights to Friedrichshafen by Ryanair.com from London Stansted airport and from Liverpool John Lennon airport. It is also possible to go by train - Eurostar from London St Pancras. There are at least two routes:  via Brussels, Cologne, (Mannheim) and Ulm or via Paris, Stuttgart and Ulm. Check with Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn for details. However, it should be noted that both Eurostar and Thalys trains on the route via Brussels can be booked only three months in advance and no further.

2.   Organised package - Airship Association member Ute Christopher who,
together with her husband John, operate ZeppelinTours.com has offered to put together a package deal to suit your exact requirements. Be aware that this is a private arrangement directly between yourself and Ute and does not involve the Airship Association. Ute has asked us to make it clear that the arrangements are strictly on an 'as cost' basis and their company will not be making any profit from the arrangement. You can contact Ute Christopher in a number of ways:

    By telephone - from UK: 0870 4798373. From abroad +44 870 4798373
    Internet phone - Skype: zeppelintours
    Email: uc@airshipinitiatives.com
